Our Corn fields and cattle are normal sights during car trips in this region, but the sight of a 2000lb Longhorn bull with an 80” inch horn measure can be a bit of surprise.  After seeing herds of these beautiful animals and this sign between the 198 and 202 mile markers on I-70 in Belmont County, Ohio, I called to inquire about the operation.  I learned more about the cattle business in a 50 mile conversation than I could have imagined.  After some research and a ranch visit on the next trip, we were hooked.  Previous generations of our families worked to move away from the toil of agriculture so that successive generations could lead easier lives.  We benefitted greatly from these efforts and are eternally grateful.  Suburbia, however, provides a cocoon of ignorance as it relates to how nature really works and how our food is produced.  The opportunity to raise these animals in a natural setting is very rewarding.  It also provides us with a sense of well being knowing how our naturally raised product provides superior nutrition and value to us and our clients.  We are proud to make this product available to you.

We are also thankful to the Dickinson’s who own and manage this wonderful ranch.  Without their knowledge and expertise we would not be able to bring this to you.  http://www.dickinsoncattle.com/main.cfm
